This pose took 4 months of serious mirror time to perfect. So I’ll stick with it, thank you very much. I can do it in my sleep. In fact, David says this is how I sleep. Except I’m lying down with one leg in the air. The maid can’t work out why I have one leg warmer – she probably thinks it’s something really kinky. Classic!
Variation! Here I am with one hand on my hip. See? I’m no one-trick pony. I’m always pushing boundaries.
That went quite well actually. This time I’ll try it with both hands by my sides. But is it too much? Will the world explode? Will I ever play the violin again? That makes me sound classically trained, doesn’t it? Yes, it does.
The trick is to think of plus-sized clothes when you pose. That way, you get just enough scowl without looking like you’re going to cry.
I let slip with a half-smile once. I was thinking of Gavin & Stacey – so funny! – but someone got a photo of it. It was mortifying.
Although everyone went on about how nice I looked. Honestly, what do they know about fashion?
This November, I’m writing one post every day as part of NaBloPoMo.
